If you are worried about a lump on the top of your foot it is always best to see a Podiatrist or Podiatric consultant to get a diagnosis. One of the conditions it could be is a Ganglion cyst, Patients present with a round lump filled with fluid. Ganglion cysts can cause discomfort and pain.

Cysts can additionally develop on top of the foot but it is very rare to have Ganglion cysts on the soles of the feet or heel of the foot.
