The Importance of Regular Chiropody Appointments

Foot inspectionWhy We Need to Look After our Feet

No wonder we get so many people knocking at our door with foot problems. Too many people don’t recognise that they should look after their feet and need book regular appointments to ensure their feet are in tip-top condition. This is especially true for people with diabetes.

We squash our feet into all types of footwear; high heels, trainers, flip-flops, wedged heels. All of these can damage the feet if they are not correct for the foot themselves. No wonder figures from the society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists show that 80% of UK women suffer with foot pain and 1 in 5 men have foot pain most days. Taking care of your feet should be part of your daily healthcare routine.

Regular Appointments

Routine appointments with your chiropodist can ensure foot health. As a general rule we suggest patients book in for appointments every 6 weeks.

Chiropody appointments are to keep your feet healthy. An appointment can involve removal of hard skin corns and calluses, checking for ingrowing toenails, fungal infections and general foot health. Book an appointment with us and your first appointment has a 10% discount available to you.
